And great timing for me as I'm starting my trip to this places very soon and every pic I see increases my anticipated joy. Would you mind telling me about the location of #4?
I have no idea Sandra. I remember it was some place between Baff and Jasper off 93. Most of my pics taken there were taken spontaneously. I saw something I liked, I stopped/pull over and took a shot. Everything was (and probably still is) covered in snow so even street signs with names of places or some small side roads leading to a lake or hike were (and are) unreadable. I drove 93 at least 4 times back and forth because in my opinion it offers the best views. So, go to Jasper and look around
And, look out for animals. I shot sheeps, lynx, owls, and deers etc. I also suggest to take highway 1a.
Gregg,
As usual very creative composition and impeccable post-processing on this series.
I like them all but personally really like #4.
Take care,
Fred

Really like them all (including the Lynx shot over on the wildlife forum!). I agree with Fred - snow isn't easy - but your processing is well done - the way you are able to bring out the layers of tonality is very pleasing. All the best
Gregg.. beautiful images you got from the Canadian Rockies.. my most favorite place!!
Out of all the good photos, I favor the image #4. BTW, where was this #4 image taken, remember?
Job well done!

Gregg,
Excellent images, and thank you for sharing. I typically skim through posts, and seldom comment, but your post certainly caught my eye and caused me to linger. The composition is unique, as are the color tones and post possessing. It has been awhile since I have viewed a landscape series that I have viewed for any extended length of time. Great work, sir!
