Hi All,
I've been driving around both Banff and Jasper National Parks recently (I actually spend there a New Year with my wife) and photographing the place as much as light allowed me to (as you can imagine in December days are short in Canada). I did visit both parks before but never in the Winter time, so my trip was all about seeing the Canadian Rockies with lots of snow, and I've got that. I was also quite fortunate to have a good weather throughout the whole stay there (first next to the Abraham Lake, and then in Banff). I did shot the lake with bubbles of frozen methane but that picture was probably already posted here so I'm not going to add my version as I'm sure it'll look practically the same
So, here are some other shots I took along highways 1, 11, and 93.
Wow, I think you did great with these! I just spent a couple minutes looking at each one of these, so I think you accomplished what you wanted! Thanks for sharing.

Nice work, I especially like the framing you did. Found #5 to be excellent and all the others to be good but not for #2 as I find that it blocks that beautiful view to much.

Very nice work. Especially liked #3 and #5. Be Proud of your efforts. Have never been there so would appreciate some titling telling me what I'm seeing. (Likely some other viewers in the same situation as me) Thanks.

Love how this last one is framed out by the trees!
Where is this?
Kootenay plains off 11. About a half an hour drice from the Abraham Lake towards 93. I have no clue if this place has some name. But I climb down to the river from a small hill so you will have look for the mountains, not trees. They won't be visible from the road.
And great timing for me as I'm starting my trip to this places very soon and every pic I see increases my anticipated joy. Would you mind telling me about the location of #4?
