Just back from a trip to Wilsons Promontory, mainland Australia's most southerly land point. This shot was taken at the end of the day at Big Drift, a large area of coastal sand dunes. I'd staked this spot out waiting in the wind and hoping for one final burst of sunlight. Thankfully the sun managed to find a small gap for just a few moments.
The shadows and the light play so well together. And the diagonal between the sun and the tree keeps my eye moving back and forth. The simplicity is powerful. Thanks for sharing!
