Damn. I got tired of hitting the "like" button. Sometimes it just doesn't seem like enough to express the thrill of seeing an outstanding image. That's certainly the case with these. I'm in awe.

Looks like you had a great year, Geoff! Dragonflies in flight, no less.
Too many great ones to comment on, so I will focus on the one I would drop. The hoodie seems a bit too noisy to make your greatest hits list. But the waxwings in the rain more than make up for it.

The only reason I included the hoodie is that it was the first time I'd seen one and got a halfway decent shot of it. They don't often stop in our area. Probably should have named the thread Geoff's Favourites of 2016 as they aren't all the best!!
The dragonflies were hovering around my kayak and the short MFD of the 100-400 produced the shot. I had no success with them in flight on land.
Amazing amount of great shots for the year and I found it interesting to note the changing gear used over the year. I have enjoyed following your posts over the year and hearing your thoughts on various cameras and lenses.
