I was watching the webcam and am so jealous that you were able to be there. Absolutely beautiful photos!
Thanks Ben,
It was nuts up there the roads up to the eastside were closed to snow removal, the road into the park was closed at the lodge and people were walking from there to where ever folks from many different country's were getting stuck and parking in the middle of the road .... but I did have fun and got to drive in snow again I love snow driving
They opened the eastside road at about 2:00 and I didn't go up since I have a vehicle that I think can go I didn't want to challenge myself yesterday with all the people that didn't know how to drive in those conditions...
I really like the first one, the light peaking through hitting the mountain face is dreamy. That mixed with the snow covering everything is the cherry on top. Thanks for sharing.
Both are great images, but that first one is a definite wall-hanger!!! Very special shot. The right amount of snow and red-rock and great splash of soft light.
Thanks too all that commented on these photo's, it was a special day for me I've been living down here for a while now and have been up there for some snow day's but none like this one.
So another Merry Christmas to you all and have a great New Years day and year!
