To me, this Brúarfoss is the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. It has multiple cascades of little waterfalls that pour into one larger stream. Oh, Boy! What an amazingly blue water and a magical scene!
On the first day of my last trip to Iceland, I went directly to this Brúarfoss.
Since I know the way to get to this Brúarfoss from the previous travel to Iceland, there was not much trouble in finding this waterfall.
After taking usual shots from the bridge, I decided to go down closer to the ledges. Very slippery rocks and ground.. But yes, I managed to have quite shots at many different angles. All of the little cascades into vertical, and horizontal dancing waterfalls. Such a beauty, indeed!
Hope you close your eyes and imagine how blue and amazing this Brúarfoss is!
Kee - This is really nice - love the angle you chose on this one. I also agree - Bruarfoss is one of the coolest waterfalls on the island - given it's relatively small size - it does pack quite the "photographic punch"!

Hello Todd,
Thanks for your comments. Lovely country, Iceland, isn't it? I am looking forward to the next trip to Iceland. Perhaps with a drone in my hand!

I love the composition but no so much the excess cyan tone. Would love to see a version with the cyan taken out.
Thanks chez for your suggestion. I took a tiny bit of cyan taken out and replaced the original image with a new one.
I will take a look at the image more closely.

Kee, I agree, I think this is a much nicer composition than from the bridge. Just imagine it if autumn with all the leaves being yellow & gold!
Hello Monika,
Thanks for your nice comments. That keeps me going!!
Merry Christmas!

I totally agree with his comment!
I am glad you like the image of the Bruarfoss here. Thanks!
Beautiful shot Kee, I'm jealous. You take awesome photos in exotic places. What was your shutter speed to get such a great shot? Do you shoot in RAW? Just curious.

This is very nice, Kee. Love the cool blues.
Thanks Dave for your comments. This Bruarfoss is famous for having the turquoise blue color.
Sometimes darker and sometimes less dark kind of milky blue !

Thanks for your nice comments. I love Iceland and especially Bruarfoss ever since I found it during my second trip to Iceland. I always shoot in RAW. And this time as I added the EXIF data, I used the shutter speed of 3 s but I used ND filter and tried to vary the shutter speed to make sure that the details in the waterfalls are retained.
