I just wanted to share a very special story of my cousin Chloe and her husband Mike. These two are so very special to me and I've enjoyed spending so many great occasions with them. These two have had a very hard time trying to start their family and getting pregnant was not the easiest of experiences for them, lots of struggles, and even losing a little one at full term not too long ago. After realizing that they may not be able to have a baby on their own they were so fortunate to have Mike's amazing cousin Kristine offer to be a surrogate for them and yesterday years of emotional ups and downs turned into the birth of sweet baby Kennedy.
Chloe had asked me early on in the pregnancy if I would be interested and able to be there for the birth. It was something I had never done, aside from being at my own children's birth and I knew it would be an amazing challenge and I'm so glad I said yes. I knew what these people have been through and I really wanted to share in something so unique and special. Kristine, you are such a special person to make this dream come true for Chloe and Mike, it's an incredible gift to them.
I will share this one image from yesterday and you can see such a great show of love in this image. Kristine and her mother Cheryl alongside Mike and Chloe and of course little Kennedy.

This is a picture for the ages. Displaying love within a family in an amazingly powerful and beautiful way. What a gift, it is not something you can describe and yet here it is captured for all time in this photograph.
