Not much time to capture this massive lava breakout. Focusing on one small area where it was slowing dripping, I didn't realize the pressure build up was enough to break the crust about 15-20 yards away. enough time just to pan up and take a few shots before getting out of the way.
Do you use an infrared blocking filter to keep some of the infrared from cooking your sensor? Lovely lava photo and truly an art with the presentation and dedication.
