Woke by alarm set for early morning at the camp site near the Pounding Mill Overlook, we realized the campground was milked by the full moon light. We drove up to the Overlook and it was cold. We were treated with the low level fogs filled up the distant valleys between mountains, which was exactly what we were longing despite of the extremely dry weather this Fall. When the sun just erupted over the horizon, the whole sky displayed the epic orange warm color kissing the earth in cool.
