p.1 #1 · On top of the world

Hi

Here a new image!
It was shot on top of a mountain, at break of day.

WOW! Amazing. Not that it matters, but is she part native american or south american? I wanted to do a native american themed HS senior or portrait shoot some time.

lovely image. I wished some rim light hit the side of her face. Her face, mouth, jawline kind of gets lost in her left arm. Might be achievable in post if you're really careful.

Agree it's a tad much on the tilt, but man o man it's a wonderful image.

I don't have an issue with the angle since to me it enhances the shot. I'm with glowhunter in that bumping up the glow in her face for separation would add to it. Not quite as much as on her left leg, but the same coloring.

If you're to do it again, perhaps just a bit of gelled fill light.

I'll third the lighting on her face.

I suppose an alternative to a gelled fill light might be a reflector. That should get you the same color of light on the "near" side. Just a thought.

Lovely background for the model.

Thanks.

I agree that the dutch angle kills the composition.
The pose is a problem as well. Its the arm that is killing the rim light that should be on the face.

The devil is in the details.
