It was 35s but I closed a dozen or so apps and that helped.

2x2GHz G5, 4GB RAM
PSCS

With such a small image and only one filter RAM should be fairly irrelevant. It is only when you have big images or lots of images open at once or a large number of history states that large amounts of RAM will kick in, but boy will it help once you get to that stage!

Why is XEON so much faster than p4?

16 Seconds on my dual 2.4 Xeon with SETI running and 12 seconds when SETI was turned off. 2GB RAM.
