Just got my Dual 2.5 ghz G5 and 30" ACD.

20.5 seconds

1.5 gigs of RAM
1 gig allocated to PSCS
250 gig HD
NVIDIA Geforce 6800 Ultra DDL

I was clocking at 30 secs while transferring 30 gigs of video, iTunes playing and importing pics to iPhoto. But with those tasks not running. I clock at just under 21 secs.

Mine seems to be on par with the other 1Ghz Al PowerBooks here. I ran it three times.

My PowerBook specs are:
1 Ghz Aluminum Powerbook
768 MB ram

1) A few apps open 50% of the 658MB of available ram allocated. 100 seconds
2) PS CS only open, 80% of the available 658MB, 97 seconds
3) PS CS and Safari open, 100% of the 658MB available, 96 seconds

I think this thread has lasted long enough.

A really interesting thing would be if someone collects all data and processed it to some cool looking charts with speed on one axis and the computer system on the other.

Thank you all for your effort. An interesting thread.
