It's the last one for me Matthew! They're all great but that one is a gem. The stream brings us into the lake and mountains naturally.

Looking good! 1 is rad..could see a 4x5 crop to take off some of the top of the image. Nice light you caught in these.

Gorgeous images and excellent post processing. I like the composition of of the last one best but it looks like there are significant artifacts from focus stacking or blending on both sides in the middle of the frame.

Thank you! I suspect what has happened is a bit of oversharpening on my part. Sharpening for web is (sheepishly) new to me and may have gone overboard. Mark Metternich has a great process I found on Youtube, I may have just overdone it here

No you're definitely not! I went out with a group of 6 guys and 4 of us had never been! We hiked out Wonder Pass, which was a nice thing to do - once
