Hi everyone. It's been a while since I have posted.
This shot taken a week and a half ago of these incredibly wonderful rock formations in Western New Mexico and the late summer Milky Way.
As I first gazed upon these formations I felt as if I were in a Salvador Dali painting.
I have never seen quite as cool rock formations as there are here.
This shot taken shortly after sunset just put everything together for this place. The formations, clouds and stars simply blew my mind. As if I were on another planet or a universe created by Dali himself.
I Post much of my work on my Facebook page if you are interested in viewing my work more frequently.
Thanks everyone!
Very nice - both very nice in different ways. I like the sky in 1 and I like the closer on rock formation on 2 emphasis on rocks. But each is great by itself. Thanks for sharing. Scott
The 1st shot looks like it was a gorgeous scene with the clouds moving to reveal / conceal the milky way; captured at just the right moment to give the image mystery. However, the foreground and the horizon line do feel to me like they don't blend together as naturally as they could; the near-pitch-black sky at the horizon makes the foreground seem superimposed.
