Somehow, there seems to be a good idea of limiting a certain line of lenses in a separate thread for easy search if some folks are in the market for those lenses and they would like to get the feel on how those lenses draw. Whether this deserves a merit or not will depend on how well this thread gets traction. If it doesn't get enough support then let this thread die in due time.
With that said I will start with a couple images. Please post images taken with your Basis lens or lenses. The body doesn't matter at all, it can be FF or APS-C. My suggestion would be to cross post images between this and the huge and catch-all FE image thread if you are using a FF format.
I like the idea for a Batis only image thread. I created a Loxia only image thread a year or so ago and people seemed to like the idea. Looking forward to seeing this topic filled with images
This thread is off with a great start. Impressive images, everyone!
Here are 3 images taken with the Basis 25mm. In addition to being a great lens for the mid to far focusing ranges, this lens is excellent for close close-ups.

How did you manage to pull a pick off in the Sistine Chapel ? When I was there two years ago they told us no pics even with out flash.

Fantastic idea - frankly, i skip over so many photos in the 'alt' (big) thread b/c they're with lenses i would never even consider (which is fairly shallow i admit).
3 shots with Batis 18: one at f/2.8 and two at f/5.6
then, 3 shots with Batis 25 at f/8, f/2 and f/5.6
These are such beautiful photographs, and each of them is so different. Also, each is of a subject that is often photographed, but each of your images gets to a uniqueness and beauty that surpasses the category.
I would be interested in your saying much more (a few paragraphs?) about how the photographs were made--both the taking of the image in terms of context, purpose, and opportunity and then the post-processing or technical aspects of the process.

Beautiful work!
Thank you. I really appreciate your nice words. I will come back to some details tomorrow or this weekend when I have time.

That would be great. I do hope you find the time to write about the pictures. Knowing the backstory on the taking and the processing is always so interesting and an opportunity for others to learn.
