It is an FE-mount lens. So, there should not be any adapter.
What I am more interested in is whether it transmits exif data. Frankly, it doesn't look like it, just like its brother, the Laowa 12mm f/2 lens . Oh, well. This seems to lighter and smaller than the Rokinon 14mm f/2.4 XP, the new premium line from Samyang. A tad narrower FL but at f/2.0 it is a tad faster. Looking forward to hearing your evaluation, Fred.
Awesome! Looking forward to it. I think this is the only lens that really interests me at the moment if it can deliver great results at f/2 and infinity.

I have requested 10-blade aperture but that may not be possible since it's already in the final stages of development.

No, but they are aiming for this month.
I also had some back and forth with them about the 10 bladed iris quite a while back. They seemed quite interested to know that people cared (I directed them here to some threads for evidence that people did care)
Fred I wonder if you should send then a link to @BastianK article on Philip Reeve's site about sunstars? That might further suggest to them there are more people who like a ten bladed iris..

I also told them they should use 10 bladed Iris like three times already and send them the comparison that is now in that article (between Nokton 50mm 1.5 and Summicron 90mm 2.0) like half a year ago.
If they copy Zeiss Loxia look (color scheme) and Zeiss Loxia packaging they should definetly also copy Zeiss Loxia aperture mechanism, would just make sense.
I'm hoping the infinity stop will be dead on at f/2. That's something I really miss from the Nikon AIS lenses. It's a pain trying to achieve perfect focus in the middle of the night when shooting Astro.
I haven't seen anyone comment on this yet but I think it's pretty cool they have marked the location of the entrance pupil on the lens barrel (the small red triangle).
This will mostly be of use to people planning to use the lens with a VR tripod head to create spherical panoramas, but it shows they actually thought about what people might use the lens for.
What's next? Manufacturers reporting the actual focal length?
I hope it's ok I trickle down info as I get it.
It looks like the Laowa 15/2 will be available for both E-mount and M-mount...So, it will work on Leica bodies and AF will be available for Sony bodies using TAP.
"To get everyone more excited, we will also make the lens to M-mount. Already in development..."
