Suteetat, congratulations Thank you for shots, and just demonstrates how much latitude the GFX RAW files have. There is a definitive presence with the images.

Thanks Charles, I really like the GFX so far. It feels far lighter than the way it looked but will have to see how I will feel when 120/4 and 32-64 arrived as these are quite a bit heavier than 63/2.8. But since I have been using D810 with Otus 28/1.4 and 105/1.4 quite a bit, I guess weight wont be a big factor

I would be interested in your comparison with the GFX/63mm to the D810 with 50mm Art for example. You have some amazing lenses... Otus 28 and 105/1.4
I agree the GFX in the hand feels light and easy to move around with. I took the GFX down Adelaide street in Brisbane when I had the chance, and it felt great as a street camera with the 63mm.

Unfortunately, I only have 58/1.4G and not Sigma Art so regardless of sensor, I think Nikon will come out rather poor for test like this, so I did not bother. May be when 32-64 arrive, I could compare it with either 14-24 (may be a bit unfair since 14-24 is rather old) or Sigma Art 24/1.4 (give the Nikon and advantage of a prime lens).

I agree the 58/1.4 G is superb portrait lens, but is not really designed for high rez landscapes. The test of the D810 with the 24 Art compared to the GFX/32-64 would be interesting. You would be comparing existing lenses that are now available until Fuji releases 32/4.
From what I have seen, the GFX has so much depth in the RAW files and so much fun to play with. It almost feels like playing with film. I have seen some great post processing where the images look very cinematic.

just picked up my 120/4 and 32-64/4 today. Got to play a bit with 120/4 but by the time I wanted to compare it with D810 ad Sigma 24/1.4, it got a bit too dark. But I did get to compare 120/4 against A7r ii and 85/1.4GM though. This time, I kept F8, iso 100, aparture priority but this time I adjusted EV according to histogram and pushed exposure on GFX a bit. EV was 0 on Sony.
Fuji
Sony
100% cropped, Fuji left, Sony right
GFX still outresolved A7r ii so it seems that the result is quite consistent so far with 2 different lenses.

Probably not the best time to test the camera but I will be a bit busy the next few days.
So I tried D810 with Sigma 24/1.4 Art and GFX with 32-64/4. D810 was at iso 64. Both F8.
I increased exposure in post around 1 stop for GFX and 1.5 stop for D810. GFX was at iso 100, exposure time was 30s while D810 for some reason was at 25s, iso 64. Shadow was lifted +100 in both.
Nikon
GFX
For 100% cropped, left D810, middle GFX at native resolution, right, GFX reduced size to match width of D810.
I think it is not surprising that GFX looks better, it has bigger and more pixels. Can't really say anything definitive about DR or noise but at the very least, RAW file is within the ball park figure as far as malleability in post process.

Tried sneaking as close to a pigeon as I can. Generally I need at least at 70-200 though but here is a picture with 120/4, @f4, 1/250, iso 400, spot metering on the pigeon's head. AF was a bit slow and hunted quite a bit especially on darker pigeon and occasionally, it would not lock focus at all. All in all, lowish light focusing performance
is quite similar to Leica SL, I would say which is no where near D810 or D500 but I am not planning to use GFX for any action shot anyhow.
Enough with testing the camera. I think it is now time to play

Yes thanks to all for the test shots! The comparison images with crops are so useful and informative
Thanks, I think it was interesting to compare at longer distance. I was rather disappointed when I saw studio scene test at dpreview. But I think at the close distance that they are testing, the result may not neccesarily be the same as at near infinity test. Now that all the boring test is done, I can now play more with it.

Technically speaking the pigeon image posted is not very sharp. Could be your image conversion for post.
I just realized that photobucket resized picture down further with more compression as well
The pigeon picture was reduced to 2000x1500 on my computer. But looked like photobucket reduced it further to 1024x768 and the file size was about 1/3 of the file I uploaded. I can get sharper pigeon for sure with either D810 and 70-200/2.8e or Leica SL with 90-280 and blowed up to see 100% cropped but I think it was because of the longer focal lenght and better magnification.
On my computer, 100% cropped from GFX looks surprisingly good considering the small area that I was cropping it from. Sorry that the picture did not quite come out as well on the net

Finally stopped raining so I got out on the 16th floor balcony and made that test shot to show the performance of the Contax 35mm PC-Distagon (simulated) on the GFX. To be clear, I don't have a GFX! I used a Sony A7 (Kolari Thin Filter mod v3) and did a three-shot stitch to capture coverage of 36H x 44W.
Shot was done at F8, ISO 100, 1/640 sec focused on infinity. Stitched in Lightroom. Adjusted for white balance (to taste) and slight increase in contrast (also to taste). No other corrections, no CA removal. Sharpened using Smart Sharpen in Photoshop at 75%, 0.4 radius, and 3% NR. Output to .jpeg from PS with quality 100%.
Top of the image is sky, so look at the middle to bottom. (I didn't want to tilt the camera down... I hate convergence!)
Some color aliasing from the A7M with no anti-aliasing filter. Sharpness, CA and lack of distortion look very good to me.
I'm using this PC-Distagon as a donor lens for the Actus. Removing the shift mechanism and mounting the optical cell on an Actus lensboard. Will post pictures of that surgery at some point soon...

Apologies if I just missed it - but is there any real conclusion on best RAW processing workflow/program for higher ISOs on the GFX? IXT plugin via Lightroom? Or is tricking C1 into opening the DNGs better?

Latest updates for Lr CC/PS fully support GFX
Thanks Charles. I saw that it's supported, but what from I've seen/heard, LR/ACR don't do a great job in general, and especially at higher ISOs. Smeary details, etc. So I was wondering if there was a better option right now.
