Our wildflowers this summer are amazing! If you are tired of my wildflower images, please feel free to scroll on by, but I love them - always will.
I did a shoot for my dear friend JoAnn last weekend. I've really loved doing intimate portraits of mothers with their daughters so I did one for her in this field. She also has 3 sons, believe it or not - I know she doesn't look old enough! Here are a couple of my favorites.
Ditto. I never tire of seeing your images. Cute family! You sure have a knack for engaging your subjects. The entire set as posted is great, but I love the third image for its composition and her demeanor and gaze.

Lisa is that the sunflower meadow near Sunset Crater? I took some photos there at midday once but your pictures blow me away.
Thank you everyone! This field is on the highway that you drive on to get to Snow Bowl Rd. Not sure what it's called. It's just past the Northern Arizona Museum.

Who could get tired of wildflowers? I've been searching southern Ca for a nice field but I've never seen anything like the ones you post! Awesome!
During the spring there are huge poppy fields if you drive west from Lancaster, CA. I think that is where the scene of Dorothy running through the poppy field in "The Wizard of Oz" was shot. It's shown when the Witch sees into her crystal ball and says... "Poppies, lots of Poppies...then cackles".
