Was out taking some photos of the perseid meteor shower. Was lucky enough to also get a small aurora show.

First image is a panorama of 8 shots encompassing about 180 degree view facing north.

Second image is a composite of 4 images to show the perseid meteors with the aurora.

Crazy wonderful Corey! I went out Thursday night, but did not see any meteors, even though that was to be the highpoint of the shower. These are both very fine.

Both are great. I sure struck out on the perseid a couple days ago. Set my alarm for 11:30 am instead of pm!

Ya, not sure why I bother sometimes with 500px. I did sell some images off it so it does pay a bit.

Great set!
The second is more dynamic and my personal favorite.
I really like the silhouette on the first though. Perhaps the very top right branches are not even needed. I don't know, but it's worth a try to see how it looks without them.

Thanks Fred! I thought about removing the branches on the top right but I think I'd prefer to leave them in. Thanks for the suggestion though!
