@charles.K, nice portrait Charles, i really like this lens. Rendering is very similar to the the 58, which I love. you did mention that you get your lenses second hand at a fraction of the new price. Would you mind share with me where do you normally get them? I live in Sydney, do you buy it within Australia or over seas? PM me or reply is fine.

Thank you very much Ivan Often within Australia I find Gumtree has some amazing deals. We are fortunate and unfortunate in another as the market in photography is shrinking so there are many great deals. Just revisit every few days as new gear appears. Another is a FB group in Oz selling camera gear. The Buy and Sell is very good but with the AUD and shipping it is not as competitive as Gumtree.
@charles.k thanks for the tips, I bought my 85 1.8 and 58 on Gumtree too but straggling to find any 105 there. I couldn't see any under 2k even used ones

You are welcome I suspect the 105E is now hunted by many that have adopted the Z6/Z7. Check with some local pros that have moved systems. Often they have a lot of wear but personally I don't care how a lens looks so long as it has been well looked after.
