This image is from a series of recent beauty shots, but I decide to convert it to B&W. Taken with Sony A7rii + Batis 85mm. Comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks.
Wow, Henry. Tonality, contrast between her lovely skin and her hood, composition, processing -- all off-scale good. I can't unlock the grip she has on me with her beautiful eyes. Very engaging.
Thank you all for your comments.
@ GoodEgg and Doug: Agreed that it is hard to not looking at her beautiful eyes!
@ Vickie: Your definition of porcelain might be different from others, but I appreciate your opinion. Thanks!
To me, her face looks way overprocessed, or maybe she has perfect skin without much detail, but either way, it doesn't look real to me and pulls me out of the moment. The dark skin right around her eyelashes with a sharp transition to her face is a dead giveaway.
Thank you Ed, Charles, and Elliot for your opinions.
@ Elliot: The dark skin around her eyelashes was selectively burned to create a more contrast look.
@ Charles: Yes, I used 2 lights in front of the model, that is why there are two catch lights in her eyes.

That was my first thought too, skin too over processed and lacking detail, but otherwise an exquisite image.
Sometimes words are a waste. Just wonderful imagery.
To me it's ok it she doesn't look perfectly 'real' whatever that is, maybe she's not! Maybe she's an angel
