Was on a walk with my aging Weimaraner, Levi, when he went into a half hearted point. I smiled to myself thinking he must be dreaming but when I followed his nose I noticed the empty tiny nest. I don't know what species of ground nester could be responsible for such a small nest but I made sure it still wasn't being used before I decided to take this photo today using a Maple seed to show how small it really is, I'll be sure to pay more attention next year to figure out what bird species it was.
