Had the pleasure of meeting up with my friend @surfnron in the Outer Banks for a morning of photographing black bears. Had a blast, and the bears did not disappoint . Here are a few shots from today.

Thanx a bunch for chauffeuring me around today. I had a blast and the bears also added to the fun. I just uploaded my shots and have only processed one, but will post it as a teaser in a few minutes.
These are all very well done, but the expression in 4 is priceless. It looks like the bear is saying "Are you done yet? 6 is precious, and 8 not so much.
Wow - really incredible set. I'm so jealous. Are these from Alligator River? I spent two mornings and evenings there early last June and was pretty underwhelmed by the bear activity, but maybe I need to get down there in mid-July (like this weekend)!
