I'll pose the same question to you Rod, or anyone that has the Monochrome version. What are your thoughts on the images so far? Are you finding the B&W-only images limiting?

Google why Daido Moriyama, a legendary Japanese street photographer, shuns the M and shoots the regular GRIV.

I love the images, they are crisp & clean and as contrasty as you might like. This image is an SOOC jpeg . All I did was remove two small objects along the right & bottom edge, and put a very slight vignette on the frame. Nothing more. As for B&W only no issue for me. I started way back in the film days using various BW film stock. I have a few pic's in this post https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1747501/ you can look at to give you more of an idea of image quality.
One more thing about this image. it was shot in Ricoh's 35mm crop mode so it is only 4400x3296. Then scaled down to 800x600 for posting here.

Very nice images. Looking clean. How are you liking the M?
Thank you. The M was something of a rabbit hole camera for me. I own quite a few cameras because I’m a videographer, so I have a bunch of hybrid style cameras. I enjoy black and white photography a lot, but I am always converting it. After trying to shoot exclusively in the B&W mode on my ZF, I decided to just grab a dedicated one for my hobby photography. I like the limits it places and it reminds me of going out with only rolls of B&W film.
