Taken with the Ricoh GR III, this is the same subject as the image that I posted earlie, above at p.22 #17, which was taken with the GRD IV, a small-sensor camera. Both were shot as JPGs using the High-Contrast B&W preset. On the GR III, one has the safety net of having a DNG as well; the GRD IV produces only a JPG when using the High-Contrast B&W preset, so that only minor processing adjustments are possible. Actually, I like the JPG shot above more than anything I was able to produce with the DNG in Lightroom. I like the High-Contrast B&W preset a lot, on both of these cameras.
This is a JPG using the Positive Film preset. Actually, I shot DNG+JPG using the High-Contrast B&W, and then used the in-camera RAW development facility to create the Positive Film JPG.
I've been tempted to pick one up for a little while now. Pretty cool to see the wide variety of images captured with the GR's, I guess that's the benefit of a camera that you can always have on you?
