My niece is an attorney in Bakersfield, CA where her husband works as a petroleum research scientist. They were visiting us over the past long weekend and we decided to take the opportunity and do a quick maternity shoot at one of our local parks.
Here are a few sample shots. All taken with our D4 with 200mm f/2. A Profoto B1 inside a Fotodiox 60" octa was used as fill on camera left. Would welcome C&C...
2 small opportunities...
-on my screen, her dress looks blown out. However, I haven't calibrated in a while so perhaps it's just mine...
-as a set, they all seem similar in that she's facing the same direction in all of them

Thank you so much...
On the highlights, I did not notice any clipping on my monitor (calibrated ~3 wks ago), but I will double check.
On your second point, I do have a few shots from other angles, including the following two cliche shots

Very nice look. I too share the concern regarding the white dress. Maybe it would benefit from a slight ev decrease. Still very striking work.
Thank you so much... Yes, will double check the whites and highlights when I get a chance.

Looks nice. I'd prefer a little more fun or emotion though, they look quite stiff.
Thanks a lot Steve for the comment... On the more fun/emotion, perhaps few others I have, including the following three, serve the purpose a bit, right?
