These were taken this morning from kayak level. Grebes and loons are much more cooperative and tolerant of the kayak than the buffleheads and mergansers that would fly off when I was still 30 yards away.
Superb shots, an hardly wait until June 1st, for the beginning of Loon season. The Grebe shots are nice as well. I often hope that the Buffies will learn from the Loons and Grebes and decide that is safe to come in close.
These are great...a nice diversion from eagles I wonder if one needs more resolution than a High Def monitor can deliver to really appreciate the 5DS R....but on my lowly Retina screen these look pretty darn good.
