I immediately knew it was yours, Ron, before I even looked at the left margin. Fabulous in its simplicity of form and intricacy of detail. Did you capture any images of the dancer looking up? (that may not be something one does from that position, but my imagination says it might be a good look) ★★★★★

Thanks!
Our concept was to shoot it with her head down. I wasn't able to get very high, and the dance studio only had 8 foot ceilings, so I was shooting at 24mm. I did get a shot with her head up... and while I did like it, the 24mm length created a distortion (big head) that was not cool, and I didn't want to liquify to fix. Any rate, I think I prefer her head down anyway because her face/eyes would draw attention from her form and that gorgeous tutu.

Very nice. Glad you didn't fall onto her!
That's always a concern, but my biggest concern in a shot like this is dropping the camera. I'm pretty confident it will never happen because I'm so damned worried about it.

This one earns a double wow. In the new studio?
If it was, I would have been able to shoot it from a much higher vantage point. She is on my white marley flooring, but we're at a dance studio (with a really low ceiling!).
