My previous photo with the tail end of a rainbow was actually a quick shot. I had been concentrating my efforts on this composition and waited for the light. Here is when some vivid orange colours peaked in the clouds. It didn't last long but I was ready for it.
Enjoy!

Scott,
Great comp the LE with the reflecting clouds are really sweet. Your waiting pays off big here you captured some beautiful color. Very enjoyable to view.

Beautiful work. The composition is excellent and the colors are exquisite.
If you don't mind the question, where are you in relation to the image? Are you in the water or using a medium telephoto lens for the composition? If you're in the water, how deep was it?
I think you balanced the silky feel of the water by longish exposure with relatively sharp static clouds.
As mentioned, great comp with stepping stones and sweet light.

Thank you Max!
I was sitting on a large rock. Had to rock hop my way to this spot as I wasn't wearing rubber boots or hip-waders. The water was maybe 2ft deep at this spot. This was photorgraphed with a Sony A7R and Contax Zeiss 18/4 lens using a FotodioX Vizelex ND Throttle adapter for long exposure.
Cool stuff here. I see what you were going for with the comp but the lines of the rock lead my eye off the page to the right, which tends to be a big no no as we want us to land and stay visually with the piece. Just a thought and way to be ready for that. I know it's hard to sit still sometimes when the light is firing
