I wanted to get 4-seasons for my daughter's Senior pictures, but winter skunked out on us this year. She also doesn't like going out in the cold, so I gave up. But Autumn is a too beautiful to ignore in New Hampshire! We had a gorgeous season and I talked my camera-shy girl into taking a few shots on the grounds of the nearby country store. Here are our faves. CC is welcome (for things that I can still change) and feel free to ask me anything.
1.) The store had wonderful displays which made for perfect fall props.
2.) A head-shot is a must.
3.) There was an amazing pond on the grounds! And, YES, the reflection is REAL and was not added in.
4.) Another close-up with back-light.
5.) I love these "environmental" shots. We just thought this old mill was super-cool.
6.) A final shot in back-light.
I finally got her spring ones done and will share those soon!
Thanks so much, everyone! I love her as a model, but she's quite resistant to it, so these comments will please her. It's such a special time in her life, so must be done! I know these photos will be cherished for years to come and I appreciate the CC! My next daughter (age 16) is a lot more comfortable in front of the camera, so I should get more smiles when it's her turn.
Beautiful set. Very well done and all are put your daughter in the best light. With your four seasons comment, I was expecting some from summer and spring if not the dreaded winter. It would be nice to see her change with the seasons. Only in #1 do her skin tones seem too bright. In the rest, she seems perfectly integrated into the rest of the image. I like the mood of the last shot with her neutral expression and eyes off camera and arm perfectly akimbo. The white birch brings out the warmth in her skin tones.

Thanks so much, Brev00. I've noticed that my prints are a bit bright, so it's time to re-calibrate. I will tone down #1.
Very nice set of images. The ultra soft and even lighting is beautiful. I'm trying to figure out how you lit her face so well coupled with the backlight.
