Hi everyone! I wanted to introduce our new baby girl, Sylvie Violet. She was born on April 22nd weighing 5lbs, 11.6oz. I was induced 3 weeks before my due date due to pregnancy induced hypertension - this sweet girl is definitely giving us a run for our money! As I'm still working on taking and editing these images, I will come back and add new ones in as I go. The entire family is completely in love - there is always someone wanting to hold her and love on her. She doesn't know what she's gotten herself into.

This one makes me cry! He's so protective of her. My future pediatric heart surgeon and his baby sister who will need the services of one soon...
I debated sharing this, but Sylvie, unbeknownst to us during my pregnancy, was born with a congenital heart defect. We found out when she failed the pulse ox test as part of her newborn discharge screening. She was taken from us and flown via helicopter to the Phoenix Children's Hospital, where she was immediately swarmed by doctors and nurses. She was hooked up to everything, and tests were ran. She spent 12 days in the NICU. Sylvie has something called a 'mixed total anomalous pulmonary venous return.' She will be okay, but she will need open heart surgery when she's 4-6 months old to repair this so she can lead a full and active life.
To add to this story, our 15 year old son Damien (pictured here with Sylvie) has been saying for the past 4 years that he wants to be a pediatric heart surgeon when he grows up. Life comes full circle.

The last time I did sibling shots with him, he was the baby. They grow up fast. She has so many big brothers to look out for her!

Gabriel was being so cute while being photographed with Sylvie, that I had to get one of him by himself. I can't believe how big he's getting!

Remember my chicken boy with the long, curly hair? Well, he's all grown up now with a big boy haircut - no more mistaking him for a girl lol. All of these boys are so protective over their new sister - I love it! Here is Elliott, age 4, with Sylvie, 3 weeks old. <3

All 11 together - including it here despite giving it it's own thread also.
Yes, Congrats on a beautiful daughter with a beautiful name. I love her lips, especially when she smiles. I'll be praying for good health and successful surgery. 1 & 8 are my faves, but the rest are great, also.
Congrats on the newest addition. #11 is my favorite, that pose and colors are very nice. Her skin for a 3 week old is amazing!! Hoping all goes well for you.
Congratulations! She is beautiful. Love all of them but the last one is special. Positive thoughts for you and your family and the upcoming surgery ahead. She was born an a great day. My birthday!
What a cute baby! Just wow. And awesome photography, Lisa. Very well done. I love the one with your daughter and the one with your son. (And all the others too).
Congratulations again Lisa, she is just adorable, what expressions she has already for an early newborn, has to be all the love and attention she is getting at home. I started typing my favorites, 7,8, 14, 16....then i was going to put down all the numbers!
Will continue praying for her successful surgery.
Congratulations Lisa. What a gorgeous little baby! Technically they are all beautiful, but to pick the cutest, would be very difficult. We will be thinking of little Sylvie in the coming months. Sylvie and your family will be in our payers. Hope your son can fulfill his dream do be a doctor. Thank you for sharing.
