When I came back to Nikon I decided on the massive 17-55 for a general lens.
Wasn't too sure what to expect being the age of the lens design but I'm liking it so far.
Not much work here, just some tab moves in LR6.
I feel this glass has that magical quality few lens produce.

Thanks! It's great on the D810/800's in 1.2 crop mode (60-120 FOV)
I shoot the 24-105 wide open 90% of the time (FX) It's sharp w/great color
but the 50-100 is probably the sharpest zoom out there...and the fastest.

Thx Will. Not real happy with the 24-120 F4 VR. Think I'll give the Siggy a try.
