Dear friends, I haven't posted for a while. In celebration of the World Penguin Day, here are a few pics from my recent trip to the Falkland Islands and Santiago.

Falklands is one of my favourite destinations. I recognize all the places you shot. You had some gorgeous light and I'm very envious of that. The BB albatross from Saunders (?) is super. Makes we want to go back again some day.

Thanks, Don! It was indeed a nice surprise to see the chicks in Saunders. But what a hike in the strong wind. Was extremely lucky to be blessed with good light in this trip. DonGut wrote:

Thank you! The caracara was my main target for the trip. I've heard that they had no fear to humans--which turned out to be true. But they like to grab penguin chicks which was hard to watch MedicineMan404 wrote:

the Caracara stopped me in my tracks though...completely unknown to me=wow!!!
