Your description is the very reason I did not lead a tour there this year! The place is becoming a fiasco. IMO there are far too many great and unique places left in the world to shoot and lead people without having to deal with hoards of crowds of people.
May I remind you that Patagonia is 490,000 squares miles. I just came back from Chilean Patagonia after traveling for two weeks, visiting amazing places and catching a lot of fish. Most of the time I was by myself.
A great set of images Gregg. Interesting observations re: how crowded the place is, too. I just got back a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't too crazy 'yet' but autumn colours were yet to hit absolute peak so I guess a lot of the workshops were probably yet to arrive.
I like them all. While we as photographers wish for the unpopulated wilderness, we have to remember that others want to see what we want to see in person as well. A lot of that increased traffic is as a result of the very images that predecessors have taken and drive us to those locations.
