Looking to move this fine tripod. After it sitting in the garage gathering dust, figured someone else might actually have a USE for it.

Comes with a hexagonal quick release plate, the 3040 tripod, and the 3047 head.

No strap or bag, & dust is free of charge !!

Say $195 or I can always use a EF lens or 1.4 TC as a trade??

PM any takers, offers, or possible trades!

OH, or I really could use a 1gb+ CF or Microdrive to fit a 10D

shawn.... I looked at the Manfrotto site and they don't seem to show a 3040 tripod. They do have a 3046 which is rated to support 26+ lbs. Could you confirm that this is the unit you are selling? I may be interested.

From what I understand the 3040 was the predecessor to what is now the 3046; the 3047 head is still in production and has rubber grip handles now...If I am wrong will someone please advise? Also does anyone know if this tripod will securely hold a Wimberley with a large lens

I was asked and did not know the answer!
