Thanks, Eric! It is a terrific avocation, made all the more fun by the FM community.

4) is beautiful. I like the shape of the dead tree. That's a natural arts. I hope the cactus is not in the background though.
Thanks! Tree is a Cholla cactus (not sure what you mean by background).

Very nice set! Love the great variety you were able to capture
Thank you, Michael! For this region, these species are all very common, but it's a special part of the country that most of us don't visit that often.

Greg, these are stunning, but that really seems inadequate to describe them ! Marvelous shots and processing.
So very well done on all accounts.

A superb set Greg. The gila is certainly a contender for awesome status. Cactus wren is also pretty special. Very enjoyable viewing.
Thanks so much, Ken....I wish the Gila had been tilted a bit more towards me, although it's fun to see the yellow underbelly.

Hi Greg...
Some beautiful photographs of my "neighbors" here in Arizona. Your skill as a photographer have given me much to strive for in my own photography
Thanks
Tom
Tom...that's very nice! It was a quick visit, but I was struck that much of the wildlife is very accessible (and the terrain is fantastic). My in-laws actually live in Prescott, but met us in Phoenix; we're headed back there later this year so I'll have a chance to spend some time in northern Arizona.
