I have spent some time photographing these sparrows in the recent past and much of that was spent on finding the right perches

These were mostly shot in West Texas and New Mexico. Hope you like. C & C welcome.

A Sesame Street set. Which of these birds is not like the other? Top drawer images. Very enjoyable viewing, and a couple birds in there I don't recall seeing pictures of before. Very well done.

Great backgrounds for all. The first two and the 9th could use more detail in the whites. Super feather detail in all otherwise.

Thanks Morris. That's something new for me in photoshop. I searched online and looks like a good way to get some details out of blown out whites. Thanks for the valuable feedback. Will give it a try when back home after weekend outing

Nice work. Look where no one else is looking - and sparrows certainly deserve far more attention than what they receive.

A thoroughly enjoyable series here. All of these show great clarity, detail and have excellent backgrounds with lovely compositions.

Yes may be next time along with some La Conte, clay colored chipping etc.
