I was just in Florida for 1 1/2 weeks. I spent the first 3 days doing bird photography before my family arrived for our family vacation.
Thanks to Randy Rimland for joining me and to Ron Bielefeld for taking us on his boat to capture these images.
This set concentrates on birds in flight, while I'd like my next set to be for perched birds. The first 9 photos are of snail kites.
Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.

I alternated back and forth from the 600 to the 400 DO. The 400 DO is a delight to hold after long holds of the 600.

This is a fantastic series. Your photos of the kites are really sweet and your nailed the "money shot" with the spoonbill in pic number 15. I'd be proud to have any of these in my files!
