My entry this week. Fresh off the shoot this morning. The moon vanished 45 minutes earlier and only showed itself again as the sun rose and burned off the thin marine layer. Fuji XT1 with 100-400 lens and 1.4x TC.

I also noticed that gorgeous moon this morning and was kicking myself for not having my camera with me. It was an amazing moon and right at sunrise.

This was my second day at Treasure Island and just like yesterday, the moon was obscured by the marine layer as it got close to the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge. I almost gave up on it today and was just shooting other subjects when it showed itself again as the marine layer started to thin out from the rising sun. I just got lucky.
