Some photographs from our visit to Skye via Glencoe.
The weather was not good, although that is debatable, with gale force winds, rain, snow and low temperatures.
But we will return!
The winds are the worst. Most other adverse weather can add mood to a shot, but winds don't usually do much but make the actual photography much harder and sometimes even impossible.
Nice shots you got here. I really like #1 and 2 the best. Lots of great mood here.
I can certainly sympathize with you on the wind. My wife and I almost got blown off the Quirang last June; had to abort our hike. We spent three nights in the Pink House, lower right of your Portree Harbor shot.
I particularly like your photo of the Old Man. We never got a clear view.
1 and 2 for me are the standouts. I like the others, the beach at Elgol is captured beautifully. Hoping to be back there in around 3 weeks - can't wait.
