Finally picked up a camera after what seemed like a really long time! Spent a few hours wandering around a NWR with my wife and daughter. Didn't see much, but we came away with a few images. Hope everyone's doing well!
Beautiful colors on the beach, Chris; finding those reflecting pools must have been a thrill!
Here's the first panorama I've ever posted; I'm going to visit the landowner to see if he'll let me cross his fences and walk down into the old nursery/orchard before the blooms are gone...I think it depends on how watchful (and noisy) his dogs are at dawn...

Mir-i-Arab madrassa in Bukhara (the only one to operate in the whole USSR - much of the Islamic figures in Russia and the CIS are/were the alumni of this school). Chor-Minor (Four Minarets) madrassa slightly outside the (designated) city center. We rushed to make a few shots before we had to leave for the railway station - to take the overnight train to Tashkent. Clearly this place would've looked better with a different lighting but we got what we got (a couple of long exposure shots including this one... it was really very dark so the settings are ISO 800, f/8, 15 seconds).
That's it for Bukhara; there will be a few odds and sods from the last day in Tashkent down the road.
Hi! My first post here on FM! (hopefully not my last one xD)
I live in Taiwan now, and seasons here are not the same as what can be experienced in Europe/North America/Australia. Taiwan's weather is halfway between a tropical country and Japan's, so it's often difficult to tell:"Oh wow, Spring has really started today!". We've just recently had 3 days above 25C, followed by a week between 10 and 15C, and now back above 25 with plenty of rain.
Anyway, nature is gifting us with some days of clear skies and people can enjoy surfing. I hope during the coming weekend to have a break from the rain, in order to go back to the surfing beach and do some hiking.
