When shooting at one of the subway stations lately (I'm on a mission to have the pics of the all, in case I ever need them - but also because most of them are looking very nice), I decided to go crazy for some reason. The first is a close-up from a Hollyhock patch that stubbornly refuses to fully bloom (probably when I have to go back to work Monday ) , and the second a quick pattern I saw on my veranda roof during a thunderstorm yesterday:
