Did it manage to eat it whole, or in pieces? I don't know. It flew away to eat it in privacy. I guess if a gull can swallow a starfish whole, a kingfisher should be able to handle a crayfish.

Nice set Tony! I have never been able to get that close to a KF. Very skittish in my experience. Were you shooting from a blind?
