They say a portrait should convey something of the character of the person being photographed. Erin is a lovely young woman, a model, a mom, and a bit of a rebel. That's her jacket. And while you don't see it in this shot, she's also wearing 16 hole Doc Martins. It's just who she is.
It would have been really easy to blow out the highlighted areas of her gown, but you handled with grace and style that only come with expertise. I love it, and I do see the character you mention!
There's some dimpling of the background down at the bottom left of the image, which I'm not sure the cause of. Liquify tool? In any event, love the energy of the image, the tone, and simplicity of the lighting.
There are often 2 sides to a person which you captured so well in this -- soft yet edgy, and dynamic. I'm not sure showing the Doc Martins would have added...
