These are great and I enjoyed viewing them. It's really something to see them tending to their nest. You are very fortunate to have the vantage point you do to take these wonderful images. Do you have any idea how long this nest has been used and do you think it's the same pair of eagles year after year?

This will be the third year they have used this nest. They used to use a nest across the road since 2007 I think. The female died in a power line accident in 2012. It is believed to be the same male but I don't know as I only started watching them when the new female was there in 2013. From my pictures I'm fairly sure the past 3 years have been the same couple. The new female is very fertile and has raised 3 eaglets the past 3 years since she took over the nest.
What wonderful pictures. You are blessed to live where you do, to have the wonderful equipment and to have the time and especially the eye. Thanks for sharing. When will the egg hatch?

Thanks Dan. Last year eggs hatched May 2nd, 3rd and 5th. That was probably about a week earlier than the previous 2 years.
I look forward to your eagle "nest to fledgling" series like the old time theater serial westerns. Every Saturday was a new adventure even though the plot never changed ---
Your skill in capturing the moment --- and often the narrative --- are a high water mark on FM.
