These are wonderful, Don, congratulations on the experience and excellent captures!
What a treat to view...thanks for sharing! I need to move Madagascar up on my always growing bucket list. How was the overall experience...a must do?
I look forward to more from this trip.
Thanks Jim. Madagascar was on my list for a long time. I finally said it was time to go. It was a great experience, a tough shoot in many ways; being in the forest. The variety and the # of unique species made it very memorable. Unfortunately the country is very poor (shockingly so) and there are very limited wild places for the animals to exist. I'm very glad I went.

Don,
These are crazy good and would be dream images from a dream location. The Sifaka is such an interesting species and you've managed to capture the beauty, elegance and awkwardness they can exhibit. While pic one is an amazing catch, I do like the last two with the mother clutching the tree and her baby on board.

Thanks Bruce. You also are a push over for "cute". The sifakas are diurnal, so they are seen during the day and have brighter colours making them more appealing for we photographers.

That's one (Lemur) my favorite subject. I will go for it once. You have done great justice to it. But one thing i would like to ask. How is 200-400 lens. As i was too confused while buying my 600 f/4 L IS II USM. As my orientation is towards mammals, i am thinking i should have gone for it. I love the image quality of 600 but zoom versatility. Love to here your reaction?
Thanks and regards

Thanks Subrat. I love the 200-400 and I often use it with an external 1.4 TC giving me 784mm focal length at F8.0. I use it almost exclusively now. Well worth the money IMO.

Thanks BB. They are very cute; you just want to pet them! They allow close approach at times, but not too close. I really wanted to bring one home.
