Many thanks to Larry, Bert, and the other photographer regulars for their hospitality, which is part of the joy of 14. My work schedule has really gotten in the way of my Eagle photography. I realize this stuff won't be as good as Larry and the other folks here. but I did it my way.................
You have some very nice images. That "Acrobat" shot is my favorite. I only wish the eagles head was turned a little more to view more of his eye. Maybe next time he will be more cooperative. Thanks for posting as I enjoyed viewing them all.
These are excellent. You should be quite happy. I hope the eagles are around for a few more weeks this year since I have not made it up yet. Really slim pickings down my way.

I am glad you enjoyed them John. It is more likely poor timing on me starting the sequence than the Eagle not posing. It always amazes me how much you miss frame to frame even at 10fps.

It has been slim pickings in a lot of spots this season. I was just happy to get over there and see any. With the lack of frozen waters up north and the high water and lack of shad, the odds are not good. The DNR even cancelled the winter Eagle count due to low numbers being seen. But we take nature as it comes to us. Just remember about the third week in Feb the adults will be nesting up.
