I'm going to a Brooklyn Nets game at the Barclay Center. The camera policy for the Barclay Center says that no interchangeable lens cameras are allowed. Anyone know if they enforce this policy for Nets games? If not, has anyone had any luck getting a 1D size camera and/or 7-200 F2.8 in?

Are you sure? Ive been hearing of some new prototype 70-200 2.8's that are built into DSLR's. The upcoming 1DX II is rumored to have a permanently attached 70-200 on it.

I work in an arena (not the Barclay's Center) and have stopped people from using 70-200's before. Our arena policy is generally "larger than a dollar bill, you can't use it." I'm sure you can get it past the people at the door (especially if they only kind of glance into your camera bag and you enter with a smaller lens attached to the camera) but it all depends on the mood of the security in your section.

The first year the arena opened I was able to bring in anything I wanted. On the next visit my SLR was taken and put in storage for the duration of the game. Best of luck if you try to get in through .
