I went to the local pond on the last day of the year and found two male Hooded Mergansers decided to try and win over the approval of a female Merganser swimming nearby; and they began to perform a series of courtship dances hope to impress her. Finally she chose her prince. I had a lot of fun watching and capturing their antics. I'd would like to share you all and Happy New Year
