Well, perhaps thats not the real name - but it was this night! Taken last month when I couldn't access the location I really wanted in Laguna Beach - the tide was just too high. This turned out to be a pleasant alternative. Happy New year to all.....
Very kool and a keeper! Looks more like a torch. There is a little artifacting along the rock edges possibly due to sharpening / contrasting, easily fixed. Nice work and vision!
Fantastic shot and scene, however if I could offer one critique it would be that I think the right-hand sky near the horizon, at its brightest points, looks a bit over-recovered. I'd throttle back on whatever burning & dodging is happening here just a bit, maybe 25-50% less.
This is a wonderful image. Very stunning. To my eye the colors look a little over saturated. I might tone it down a little but thats just my personal taste. Have you tried a black and white? I bet the contrast would look pretty dramatic
Very nice capture. Colors are a bit overloaded however it is awesome the scale of colors warm to cold going up. I would try to clone out the rock on the left.
